Notice how her tone and demeanor change ever so slightly at 0:43 when she talks about her granddaughter as compared to her son or grandson. She falters and that pain in her voice and eyes is quite evident on the mention of her granddaughter. It really shows who her favourite was. She knew Margery was extremely capable and the ideal heir to the Queen of Thorns. I really think she wwouldn'thave been so hurt if her son or grandson had died, but with Margery gone, you can tell her old age and frailty really seems to come out. Every scene we see the Queen of thorns at her best is with her granddaughter. I really wish she could have seen her granddaughter rule longer.

I never understood the confusion over his smirk at the end. The purpose was for Arya to actually realize who she is. She was blinded by her internal conflict of identity. Somebody who is a nobody ("no one") can never achieve greatness, but Arya Stark can.

The only thing that Melissandre did right is to bring jon snow back to life. Aside from that, she’s f*ckin’ wrong. All way wrong.

Love the fact Royce gets the last laugh.

Couple of things the D&D messed up regarding the plot. One is their forced atheism after the books end, i.e., the point of Jon's revival. He understands better than anyone the threat the Night King is. Using his own lore, as the one who served the true purpose as the warden of the north during the battle beyond the wall, coming back from the dead as a sign that the 7 Gods chose him for his role in the upcoming war and that any betrayal would fail, his victory over the Boltons. His conflict would have been better had they gone with Jon realising that the only way to get everyone's, that is the 7 kingdom's heads out of their asses over the iron throne would be to become the King over the 7 kings. Which is what would have been season 8's theme. The north is lost, the dead army is bigger than ever, the South is to be conquered, but with how intricate the plot gets, Jon takes over the throne, bends everyone to his will under his Supremacy, and fights the final battle. Given that GRR martin was inspired from Dune, this version of the plot in any interpretation would be seen as a tip of the hat to the series without making it a ripoff

Its simple, he wanted her to develop the ability to become no one so that she could become anyone when ever she wanted and thats why all the training and the final test with waif, thats where she truly became no one and learned to become any one she wanted to , and then she chose to become arya stark so that she could serve her purpose and she also gave the faceless god the gift of waif

I like how he constantly looks from the falcon to Baelish and Royce when they're talking. Like he almost pretends to be infatuated with his nameday present but he's also interested in their conservation. It's like the writers are showing that Robin's more intelligent than he looks
